Dr Julie Calvert

Originally from Burlington, ON, Dr. Julie Calvert pursued her dream of becoming a veterinarian and completed her Doctor Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at the Ontario Veterinary College in 2020.

After graduating, Dr. Calvert practiced large and small animal medicine – treating cows, horses, cats, dogs, and even chickens! Realizing her true passion for companion animals, she joined the Quinte Animal Hospital team in 2021.
 
Dr. Calvert is Fear Free certified. She has a special interest in preventative care, medicine cases and senior pet care. 
 
In her free time, Dr. Calvert enjoys travelling and spending time outdoors with her husband and two mastiffs (Moose and Frankenstein).
